A humpback whale breaching, endless ranges of mountains, a glacier carving, these are moments of awe. Touching the wild for me is to experience transcendence and find peace amidst the rawness. It is what first brought me to Southeast Alaska and now I return to Juneau in the summers to lead hikes and whale-watching trips. I write blogs about my adventures.
